The Village Kettle Café, a fast-food cafeteria managed by dedicated Self-Help Group (SHG) women under the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM), has started welcoming visitors at Ashram Palli in Kumarghat Block of Unakoti District.
Located at the T-point near the SE Office on the Kumarghat–Kailashahar roadside, the café has quickly emerged as a refreshing stop for travelers and local residents seeking homemade vegetarian snacks and beverages in a peaceful environment.

Managed entirely by SHG Didis associated with TRLM, the café serves a variety of pure vegetarian snacks, tea, and refreshing delicacies daily from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The initiative reflects the growing role of rural women in entrepreneurship and livelihood generation under the Aajeevika – National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), supported by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.
