India and Yemen have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties following a high-level meeting between Indian Ambassador Suhail Ajaz Khan and Yemen’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaya Mohsin Al-Zindani, in Riyadh on Tuesday.

The discussions focused on expanding cooperation across various sectors, reviewing regional developments, and addressing issues of mutual interest. The meeting comes at a time when India continues to deepen its diplomatic engagement across West Asia and the Middle East.

According to a statement released by the Yemeni Prime Minister’s office, Prime Minister Al-Zindani received Ambassador Suhail Ajaz Khan and discussed ways to enhance and develop relations between the two friendly nations.

On Monday, Ambassador Khan held talks with Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs and General Supervisor of the Economic and Development Affairs Deputyship.
According to the Embassy of India in Saudi Arabia, the two officials reviewed bilateral cooperation and coordination at various international forums and discussed matters of mutual interest. Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also confirmed the meeting, noting that discussions centered on bilateral relations and broader international issues.
