Trailer Focuses on Story and Emotional Depth
The latest trailer shifts its attention away from mythical creatures and fantasy-heavy visuals, instead placing greater emphasis on the central characters and the emotional conflict at the heart of the Ramayana. Rich production design, powerful dialogues and improved visual presentation have earned praise from audiences, with many calling it a significant improvement over the first teaser.
One noticeable aspect of the trailer is the absence of Lord Hanuman. Fans believe the makers may be deliberately saving his much-awaited appearance for Ramayana: Part Two, further building anticipation for the franchise.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Lord Ram Receives Mixed Reactions
Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal of Lord Ram has sparked contrasting opinions across social media.
One fan defended the actor, writing that those who questioned Ranbir’s suitability may have misunderstood the essence of Lord Ram, praising his calmness, grace and restrained performance as perfectly aligned with the character’s ideals of maryada.
However, not everyone agreed. Another viewer criticised the performance, saying Ranbir’s dialogue delivery reminded them of his earlier romantic roles and did not match their expectations of Lord Ram.
The divided reactions have made Ranbir’s portrayal one of the biggest talking points surrounding the trailer.
Yash’s Ravana Steals the Spotlight
While opinions remain divided on Lord Ram’s characterisation, Yash’s brief appearance as Ravana has received overwhelming appreciation. Despite limited screen time, his commanding screen presence, powerful look and intense performance have left fans eager to see more of the antagonist when the film releases.
