Tripura Government approved Recruitment Posts:

The Tripura govt has approved recruitment for 385 posts across various departments, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury announced on Wednesday. The decision was taken during the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters at the State Secretariat, Chowdhury said that the recruitment process will be carried out through multiple channels, including JRBT and the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC), depending on the nature of the posts.

97 Posts to Be Filled Under Co-operative Department

The minister stated that the Co-operative Department will recruit 97 personnel, including:

Auditors

Investigators

Statistical Investigators

These posts will be filled through the Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura (JRBT), which will release notifications and conduct examinations.

ICDS to Get 28 New Supervisors via TPSC

As part of strengthening the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), the cabinet approved recruitment for 28 Supervisor posts, to be handled directly by the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC).

These positions will support field-level monitoring and delivery of welfare schemes under the Social Welfare and Social Education department.

Urban Development Department Gets 14 New Technical Posts

The cabinet also approved creation and filling of 14 technical posts in the Urban Development Department. These include:

Civil Engineers

Electrical Engineers

Mechanical Engineers

Public Health Engineers

The new positions aim to support ongoing and upcoming urban infrastructure projects across the state

Chowdhury further announced that 8 posts have been approved for the Tripura Film & Television Institute, including both faculty and technical support staff. The posts include:

Associate Professor (Screen Acting)

Associate Professor (Film & Video Editing)

Editor-cum-Demonstrator

Senior Technical Officer (Maintenance & IT)

Attendant (Editing Media Lab)

Attendant (Screen Acting)

Sound Recording & Mixing Engineer

Academic Coordinator

These appointments are expected to boost professional film and media education in the state.

119 New Anganwadi Centres to Be Opened

In a major step for grassroots welfare, the cabinet also approved opening 119 new Anganwadi Centres across Tripura. To operationalise these centres, the government will recruit:

119 Anganwadi Workers

119 Anganwadi Helpers


These posts fall under the Social Welfare Department, reflecting the government’s focus on child development and nutrition services.

Other Key Decisions

The cabinet also discussed and approved several administrative reforms, including modifications to the Journalist Pension Scheme, aimed at providing better support to media personnel in the state.

Chowdhury added that all recruitment notifications will be issued soon by the respective authorities, and candidates are advised to follow official websites for updates.
