New Projects to Strengthen Medical Infrastructure

During the event held at the KLS Auditorium, the CM Dr. Manik Saha also digitally launched the Inter Departmental Call Management System (IDCMS) — a tech-driven platform designed to streamline communication and coordination among hospital departments for faster, more efficient patient care.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Manik Saha reaffirmed his government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure in Tripura.

> “The state government has been consistently working to enhance healthcare facilities at AGMC and GBP Hospital,” he said. “As a result, the number of referral cases to hospitals outside the state has come down significantly.”

Four New Super-Speciality Services Planned

Highlighting the state’s continued focus on advanced medical care, CM Dr. Manik Saha announced plans to introduce four new super-speciality services at GBP Hospital in the coming months. These upcoming services are expected to reduce patient dependence on hospitals outside Tripura and ensure that world-class treatment is available locally.

> “Our priority remains to make advanced treatment accessible within the state,” the Chief Minister stated, adding that Tripura’s healthcare model is increasingly becoming self-reliant and patient-centric.

Doctors & Health Workers Earn Praise

CM Dr. Manik Saha also took the opportunity to commend the dedication and performance of doctors and healthcare workers at GBP Hospital.

> “I am glad to see that our doctors working in the hospital are scaling new heights in critical care,” he said, lauding their efforts in delivering high-quality treatment even in challenging conditions.

With these new initiatives, the Tripura government aims to make GBP Hospital a regional benchmark in critical and specialized care, aligning with its broader vision of ‘Healthy Tripura, Progressive Tripura’.
