The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially opened online registration for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Recruitment 2025, offering 3,058 vacancies across various clerical and administrative posts. The application window is open from October 28 to November 27, 2025, on the official website — rrbapply.gov.in.
This year’s recruitment covers positions such as Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist, Junior Clerk-cum-Typist, and Train Clerk. Notably, the total number of vacancies has slightly decreased from last year’s 3,445 openings.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for RRB NTPC 2025, candidates must have:
Educational Qualification: Passed Class 12 from a recognized board with at least 50% marks. (No minimum marks required for SC, ST, or PwD candidates.)
Typing Skills (for specific posts): Minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.
Age Limit (as of Jan 1, 2026)
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
Selection Process: Two CBTs + Typing Test
The RRB NTPC 2025 selection process includes:
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT 1)
Duration: 90 minutes
Total Questions: 100
General Awareness: 40
Mathematics: 30
Reasoning: 30
2. Computer-Based Test (CBT 2)
Duration: 90 minutes
Total Questions: 120
General Awareness: 50
Mathematics: 35
Reasoning: 35
Candidates shortlisted from CBT 1 (at a 15x ratio of vacancies) will appear for CBT 2. Those applying for clerical roles must then qualify in a Typing Skill Test.
Application Fees
General/OBC Candidates: ₹500 (₹400 refunded after appearing for CBT 1)
SC/ST, PwD, Women, and EWS Candidates: ₹250 (full refund after CBT 1 attendance).

2. Select your preferred RRB region.
3. Click “Apply Online for RRB NTPC 2025.”
4. Register using your name, email ID, and mobile number.
5. Log in and fill in your personal, educational, and contact details.
6. Upload photo, signature, and certificates in the required format.
7. Pay the application fee via debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking.
8. Review and submit the form.
9. Save and print the confirmation page for future reference.
