On the occasion of Vijay Diwas, the makers of the much-anticipated patriotic war drama “Border 2” unveiled its powerful teaser on Tuesday, offering a stirring tribute to India’s bravery, unity and sacrifice.
The teaser was released by T-Series Films and director Anurag Singh, who shared the glimpse on Instagram with the caption: “Awaaz kahan tak jaani chahiye… This year #VijayDiwas, celebrate the most anticipated teaser of the year. #Border2 in cinemas 23rd Jan 2026.”

Powerful Introduction of the Lead Cast
The teaser delivers a commanding introduction to the film’s four leading men — Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty — portraying roles across the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.
Each character is introduced through moments brimming with valour and intensity. Sunny Deol appears in his iconic battle-scarred avatar, evoking memories of the original Border. Varun Dhawan brings fierce intensity and discipline to his role, while Diljit Dosanjh is seen embodying raw strength and resolve amid combat. Ahan Shetty showcases courage and grit as he faces war head-on.
Grand War Scale and Patriotic Emotion
The teaser is visually grand, featuring advancing battalions, naval fleets slicing through turbulent seas and fighter jets roaring across the skies. The emotional impact is heightened by the rousing background score of “Hindustan Meri Jaan”, which amplifies the patriotic fervour.
The clip culminates with Sunny Deol’s powerful dialogue: “Aawaz kahan tak jaani chahiye?” followed by the thunderous response, “Lahore tak!” — a moment that sets the tone for the high-octane war drama.

Inspired by true events that shaped India’s military history, Border 2 promises to be a heartfelt tribute to the courage, sacrifice and unity of the Indian Armed Forces.
Production, Direction and Release Date
Border 2 is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films. The film is backed by producers Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, I.P. Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, and directed by Anurag Singh.
The film is slated for a theatrical release on January 23, 2026.
