Chasing Multiple Championships
Muddappa will compete aboard his trusted superbikes — the Gen3 Suzuki Hayabusa, BMW S1000RR, and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R — across the Unrestricted (Super Sport), 1051–1650cc, 851–1050cc, and 551–850cc Super Sport categories.
Backed by long-time tuner and technical partner Sharan Pratap, the Bengaluru rider aims to add more silverware to an already unmatched résumé in Indian drag racing.
Season So Far: Dominance Meets Rising Competition
The opening rounds held in September showcased both Muddappa’s consistency and the rapidly intensifying competition. He began the season in dominant fashion, claiming a triple victory in the 551–850cc, 851–1050cc, and 1051–1650cc categories, before returning a week later to secure a double win in the 851–1050cc and 1051–1650cc classes.
However, the Unrestricted class witnessed fierce battles, with Hanuman Pawshe (Mumbai) and former national champion Alimon Saidalvi (Bengaluru) sharing top honours. Experienced racers like Mohammed Riyaz (Hyderabad) and Mujahid Pasha (Bengaluru), along with emerging talents, ensured relentless pressure at the top.
Mantra Racing also celebrated a breakthrough moment as Mumbai youngster Shahrukh Khan swept the Indian bike categories in Round 2.

Precision Will Decide the Champion
As the championship returns to the MIC strip, hundredths of a second could determine the final outcome. Muddappa’s trademark strength — delivering clean, explosive launches under pressure — may once again prove decisive.
“Every championship comes down to consistency, teamwork, and staying calm when it matters most,” Muddappa said ahead of the finale. “The competition has grown stronger every year, but that only pushes us to work harder. We are ready for the challenge.”
High-Speed Finale Awaits
With the Madras Motor Sports Club (MMSC) hosting the final showdown, fans can expect a gripping, high-octane conclusion to the 2025 drag racing season. As engines roar and margins shrink, all eyes will be on Hemanth Muddappa as he bids to extend his legendary reign on India’s drag strips.
