Veteran Bollywood superstar 89 years Dharmendra hospitalised, has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after reportedly experiencing breathlessness earlier this week. The iconic actor is currently under intensive medical supervision in the hospital’s ICU, though sources have confirmed that his condition is stable.

According to reports, Dharmendra initially visited Breach Candy Hospital for a routine medical check-up, but doctors decided to keep him under observation after he complained of shortness of breath.

Hospital staff member confirmed,

Dharmendra came in complaining of breathlessness. He is in the ICU and is sleeping now. Right now nothing to worry. He is stable. His parameters are okay — heart rate 70, blood pressure 140/80. His urine output is also good.”

The hospital authorities have advised continued observation for the next few days. While no official discharge date has been shared, sources indicate that doctors are monitoring him closely.

Family by His Side

Dharmendra’s sons — actors Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol — have reportedly adjusted their shooting schedules to remain by their father’s side. Both have been visiting the hospital regularly to oversee his care and ensure he receives the best treatment.


A close family source said, “The family is staying positive. Doctors are optimistic and have said Dharmendra ji is responding well to treatment.”
