RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday stressed the importance of promoting Sanskrit as a daily communication language, calling it the origin of all Indian languages and a key to India’s intellectual self-reliance.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Abhinav Bharti International Academic Building at Kavi Kulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Bhagwat emphasized that learning Sanskrit is not enough — the real challenge lies in making it a part of everyday conversation.

“I have learnt the language but am not able to speak it fluently. Sanskrit must reach every household, and communication in the language is needed,” he said.
