In a major step toward strengthening sports infrastructure in Tripura, a brand-new cricket ground at KC Girls School in Kamalpur was officially inaugurated today. The facility is expected to significantly boost sports culture and provide young athletes in Dhalai district and surrounding areas with enhanced opportunities to hone their skills.
Developed through a joint initiative of the Government of Tripura and the Tripura Cricket Association (TCA), the new ground stands as a testament to the administration’s vision of inclusive and accessible sporting facilities for all — particularly in remote and rural regions.
