Another road accident was reported from the Laltila area of Khowai district, raising fresh concerns over increasing incidents of reckless driving in the region.
According to sources, a vehicle bearing registration number TR05H1577 was travelling from Agartala towards Khowai when it collided head-on with a cargo vehicle (NL01K1321) coming from the opposite direction near Laltila.
The impact of the collision was severe, leaving both vehicles heavily damaged. Fortunately, no casualties or serious injuries have been reported in the incident.
Local residents and observers have expressed concern over the rising number of road accidents in the area. Many have pointed out that over speeding and lack of control while driving are among the primary causes behind such frequent mishaps.
