The video features Bollywood celebrities including Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Tripti Dimri, Anupam Kher, Sunil Grover, Rupali Ganguly, and singer Shankar Mahadevan.

Promoting Local Markets & Innovation
The campaign shines a spotlight on local hotspots like Old Delhi’s Men’s Collection, Mandore Bazar in Jodhpur, Lighthouse on Rajpur Road in Dehradun, and Pure Education Collection in Kolkata’s Tollygunge.

The renewed push for Swadeshi aligns with Modi’s long-standing ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ (Self-Reliant India) initiative launched in 2020. The campaign aims to boost domestic manufacturing, reduce dependency on imports, and empower small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Experts believe the festive campaign could stimulate India’s economy, especially during Diwali when consumer spending traditionally rises by 20–30%, according to industry estimates.
