PM Modi lauded Qualcomm’s contributions toward India’s digital ecosystem, noting that the nation offers “unmatched talent and scale” to build technologies that will “shape the collective future.”

The PM Modi shared his thoughts on social media platform X, saying:

> “It was a wonderful meeting with Cristiano R. Amon and discussing India’s strides in AI, innovation, and skilling. Great to see Qualcomm’s commitment towards India’s semiconductor and AI missions.”

Qualcomm’s Expanding Role in India’s Tech Ecosystem

In response, Amon thanked the Prime Minister Modi for the “enriching discussion” on strengthening Qualcomm’s partnership with India. He highlighted collaborative opportunities across AI smartphones, PCs, smart glasses, automotive, and industrial sectors.

> “We are encouraged by the opportunities to develop an Indian ecosystem across AI and connected technologies,” Amon wrote on X, reaffirming Qualcomm’s long-term commitment.

Earlier this week, at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, Qualcomm showcased a range of innovations spanning Edge AI, 6G, smart homes, and connected devices — all aimed at driving India’s digital transformation.
