Argentine football icon Lionel Messi arrived in the national capital on Monday afternoon for the final stop of his much-anticipated G.O.A.T India Tour 2025. His arrival was delayed earlier in the day due to dense fog conditions in Delhi, which postponed his chartered flight.
Upon landing,Lionel Messi was immediately escorted to The Leela Palace Hotel, where he is scheduled to participate in a private meet-and-greet session with a select group of invitees for about an hour.

Earlier Stops in Kolkata and Hyderabad
Messi’s India tour began in Kolkata, where he made a brief appearance at the Salt Lake Stadium. However, the opening leg of the tour was marred by crowd management issues, as thousands of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the football superstar. Poor organisation at the venue led to chaos and disappointment among fans.
