US President Donald Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to announce Khamenei’s death, calling it the “single greatest chance” for Iranians to reclaim control of their country.
“Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead,” Trump said, describing the operation as “Justice for the people of Iran” and for Americans and others worldwide allegedly harmed by Iran’s leadership.
Trump further claimed that advanced US intelligence and “highly sophisticated tracking systems,” in coordination with Israel, ensured the operation’s success.
He also stated that several members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), military, and security forces were seeking immunity and no longer willing to fight.
“Now they can have Immunity, later they only get Death!” Trump warned in his statement.
