U’s Kantara Chapter 1, the mythological action drama that stormed the Indian box office with over ₹800 crore in earnings, is now gearing up for its OTT premiere. The film will begin streaming on
Video from October 31, 2025, just 29 days after its theatrical release on October 2.
The announcement was made by Prime Video on Monday, accompanied by a teaser clip featuring Rishab Shetty’s character Berme preparing for an epic battle. The platform posted, “Get ready to witness the LEGENDary adventure of BERME #KantaraALegendChapter1OnPrime, October 31.”
When and Where to Watch Kantara Chapter 1 on OTT
The digital release of Kantara Chapter 1 will be available to stream on Prime Video in Kannada, with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. However, much to fans’ surprise, the Hindi version has been left out of the initial release.
Fans quickly took to social media to express their disappointment, with comments such as “Hindi laoge to hi hit review aayenge!” and “What about Hindi?” flooding the announcement post.
