Huge Amount Still Pending to Be Claimed
Highlighting the status in Delhi alone, Nagaraju revealed that ₹3,210.84 crore remains unclaimed under the Depositor Education and Awareness Fund as of August 31.
He said this indicates the urgent need for citizen participation so that families can access money legally belonging to them but stuck due to outdated records or lack of awareness.
> “We wanted every citizen to easily understand the process. Guides, videos and FAQs have been created in regional languages to help people reclaim their funds confidently,” Nagaraju said.

According to government data shared at the event:
1.Mega camps have already been organized in 272 districts
