Daredevil Born Again Season 2 Trailer Drops:
Marvel Television has officially released the first teaser trailer for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, igniting excitement among fans with the long-awaited return of Jessica Jones to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on March 24, 2026, marking the next major chapter in Marvel’s street-level storytelling.

The new season picks up after the explosive cliffhanger of Season 1, which ended with Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, declaring martial law in New York City, turning the city into a battleground under his authoritarian rule.

A Darker New York Under Kingpin
Season 2 finds Mayor Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) tightening his grip on New York as he launches a ruthless campaign to eliminate Daredevil. With the city under siege, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is forced to fight back from the shadows, balancing survival, resistance, and redemption.
The trailer opens on a reflective note, with Matt reminiscing about a quiet dance shared with Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) before the moment is shattered by violent imagery — signaling a darker, more emotionally charged season ahead.
Jessica Jones Returns to the MCU
At the 37-second mark, fans are treated to their first official look at Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones in the MCU since the Netflix era. Appearing inside what looks like a church, Jessica delivers her signature dry humor while teasing Matt Murdock:
“I hope you can walk, because I’m not carrying you.”
Later scenes show Jones brutally taking down a heavily armored police officer using a massive metal door — a clear sign that her hard-hitting detective style remains unchanged.
Her return marks a major milestone for Marvel Television and strengthens the interconnected future of its street-level heroes.
Matthew Lillard Joins as a Mysterious New Character
The trailer also introduces Matthew Lillard (Scream, Scooby-Doo) as Mr. Charles, a brand-new character with unknown motives. While little is revealed, the footage hints at a connection between Mr. Charles and Wilson Fisk.
Lillard has described the role as “someone completely new to Hell’s Kitchen,” confirming that the character is not a costumed superhero or villain.

Despite escaping Kingpin’s dungeon in the Season 1 finale, Frank Castle/The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) will not appear in Season 2. Instead, the character is slated for a standalone Marvel spinoff and an appearance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
