Bollywood star Bobby Deol, who recently celebrated 30 years in the film industry, has opened up about his two sons — Aryaman and Dharam Deol — revealing how the brothers are charting distinct paths in life. While Aryaman, the elder son, is a graduate from New York University’s Stern School of Business, his younger brother Dharam decided to discontinue studies after Class 12 to pursue his passion for filmmaking.
Bobby Deol’s son Aryaman: The Scholar with Bollywood Offers
Bobby proudly shared that his elder son Aryaman performed exceptionally well academically, securing admission to every college he applied for, including the prestigious NYU Stern School of Business.
“I wanted my sons to study. My younger son left studies after the 12th, but my elder one got into NYU Stern. I didn’t even know how reputed that college was until people told me,” Bobby said with a laugh.
The proud father also revealed that Aryaman is already receiving film offers, though he’s not in a hurry to make his debut.

Fans recently caught a glimpse of Aryaman at the premiere of Aryan Khan’s web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood, where Bobby plays the role of superstar Ajay Talwar. Aryaman stole the spotlight that evening, sparking social media buzz about a possible Bollywood debut.
Bobby Deol’s son Dharam: The Budding Filmmaker
Unlike his elder brother, Dharam Deol found his passion behind the camera. According to Bobby, Dharam is deeply interested in filmmaking — from editing and cinematography to background music and visuals.
“My youngest son taught himself filmmaking during COVID. Most of the pictures you see on my Instagram are clicked by him,” Bobby revealed proudly. “He talks about the technical aspects of cinema that even I don’t fully understand.”
The actor emphasized that both sons are unique in their own way.
“Every child is special. I just want them to be happy and successful ” he concluded.

Having made a strong comeback with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal and now featuring in Aryan Khan’s series, Bobby Deol is once again enjoying a wave of appreciation from fans and critics alike.
