The specially crafted flag, measuring 22 feet in length and 11 feet in width, is designed by a parachute specialist from Ahmedabad and engineered to withstand high-altitude wind pressure on the 161-foot temple summit and 42-foot flagpole. Weighing between two and three kilograms, the flag carries deep spiritual symbolism.

Symbol of Unity, Dignity & Ramrajya

The radiant Sun emblem featured on the flag represents Lord Ram’s brilliance and valour, while the sacred ‘Om’ symbol and the outline of the Kovidara tree reflect peace, wisdom and cultural continuity.

According to temple representatives, the Dharma Dhwaja embodies the ideals of Ramrajya, a society based on justice, dignity and harmony. The flag will be positioned on the temple Shikhar, built in the traditional North Indian Nagara architectural style, while the 800-metre boundary wall showcases South Indian design elements—symbolizing national artistic unity.

Ayodhya Gears Up: Decorations, Security & Restrictions

Extensive security measures have been deployed at all entry gates ahead of the Prime Minister’s arrival. Devotees entering the temple complex will not be allowed to carry mobile phones for safety reasons. The pathway leading to the temple, Ram Path, has been beautifully decorated with flowers as crowds gather for the historic moment.

Only invited guests with QR-coded passes may access the temple before 2:30 PM. Regular darshan will resume thereafter and may continue late into the night due to expected large turnout. Extended darshan hours—nearly 15–16 hours—are scheduled for the following day, with no VIP restrictions to accommodate devotees traveling from afar.

Voices of Emotion & Celebration

Devotees expressed overwhelming pride during interactions with IANS. “This is a proud moment for Bharat. Today we feel the divine presence of Shri Ram,” said one attendee.

Another devotee said, “Our long-standing aspiration feels fulfilled with the inauguration led by our Prime Minister. This day will be remembered in history.”

Priests also recalled decades of prayer and dedication. Priest Bhola Patwa shared that he had prayed in 1971 for the day when devotees could witness the temple rebuilt at Ram Janmabhoomi. “Today, that vision has become reality,” he said.

Another priest thanked Yogi Adityanath and PM Modi for their commitment in transforming Ayodhya into a global religious destination.

A Day Written in History

For millions across India and the world, today’s ceremony represents cultural pride, spiritual awakening and national unity. Ayodhya, now at the center of global attention, celebrates a milestone that devotees have waited generations to witness.
