On the occasion of the Foundation Day of Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC), Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha reaffirmed the Government of Tripura’s commitment to strengthening healthcare accessibility and infrastructure for all citizens of the state.

Speaking at the ceremony held in Agartala, CM Dr. Saha praised the contributions of AGMC in advancing medical education and public health in the region. He emphasized the government’s continued focus on efficient grievance redressal systems, proactive responses, and seamless coordination across departments to ensure robust delivery of health services.
“Helpline numbers such as the CM Helpline 1905 have bridged the gap between people and the government. These platforms are especially valuable during emergencies and play a crucial role in public awareness,” said the Chief Minister.
He urged citizens to make proactive use of these helpline services and highlighted awareness campaigns in schools and colleges as key to ensuring public readiness.
Strengthening Citizen Support Mechanisms
Dr. Saha also stressed the importance of feedback and response through digital and manual grievance systems. He directed departmental officials to promptly address issues raised through these channels. He also acknowledged that health helplines have proven highly effective, especially during crisis periods, and appreciated the efforts made by all associated officers.

The meeting saw active participation from various government departments and high-ranking officials, including the Secretary of Good Governance, Shri Kiran Gitte, and Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan, IPS. Discussions centered on improving disaster response systems and amplifying access to citizen-centric services.
