Targeting 47 Village Committees Across West District

Addressing a press conference, Dr. Vishal Kumar, District Magistrate (DM) of West District, said that the initiative will cover 47 village committees spread across three subdivisions, eight blocks, and 35 revenue villages.

“This is a holistic development effort where multiple departments will work together, including Tribal Welfare, Health, Education, Social Welfare, Rural Development, Panchayat, Drinking Water, Construction, and ARDD,” Dr. Kumar stated.

Focus on Service Gaps & Holistic Growth

The DM explained that saturation camps have already been organized under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Udna Gram Yojana, helping tribals access certificates and essential services. The Adi Karma Yogi Abhiyan will now work to fill remaining service gaps and ensure all developmental indicators in tribal areas are achieved by 2030.

“The World Bank has committed ₹1,400 crore for this program. Additional funds will be sought from the Central Government if required,” Dr. Kumar added.
