Probe Into Larger Drug Network Underway

Police officials suspect that the arrested woman may be part of a larger inter-district or inter-state drug trafficking network. Investigators are now working to trace the source of the narcotics and identify other individuals involved in the supply chain.

“Further investigation is underway to determine possible links to organized drug syndicates operating in Tripura and neighboring regions,” a senior police official added.

Continued Crackdown on Drug Menace

Tripura Police have intensified surveillance and enforcement operations across key transit points, including railway stations and highways, as part of their ongoing campaign against drug abuse and smuggling.

Authorities have reiterated their commitment to taking strict action against those involved in the illegal narcotics trade and urged citizens to cooperate by sharing information related to drug-related activities.
