Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Friday met Lt. Gen. R.C. Tiwari, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Eastern Command, along with senior officers of the Assam Rifles, at the Tripura Institute of Forensic Science (TIFT).

During the meeting, the Chief Minister and the senior military officials held detailed discussions on several issues concerning the state of Tripura, including matters of security, development, and coordination between civil and defence establishments.

Dr. Saha appreciated the role of the Eastern Command and the Assam Rifles in safeguarding the state’s borders and maintaining peace in the region.
