Agartala, Tripura | July 22, 2025 – In a solemn ceremony held at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, Justice M.S Ramachandra Rao was sworn in as the Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court.
The swearing-in was administered by Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, marking a significant judicial transition for the state. Senior judges, state dignitaries, legal luminaries, and administrative officials attended the event.
Justice Ramachandra Rao, known for his deep legal acumen and vast judicial experience, succeeds the outgoing Chief Justice and is expected to steer the Tripura High Court with a strong emphasis on justice delivery, transparency, and technological reform.
Justice M.S.R. Ramachandra Rao has previously served in key judicial positions, including stints at the Telangana High Court and Andhra Pradesh High Court. He brings with him a legacy of significant verdicts in civil, constitutional, and administrative matters.
