In a major success against narcotics trafficking, the Sribhumi police conducted a high-intensity anti-narcotics raid in the Lalpool area of Nilambazar, seizing 870 grams of suspected heroin valued at approximately ₹6 crore.

The raid was initiated following credible intelligence inputs, as shared by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. In a post on social media, the CM praised the swift and decisive action taken by the local police.
