Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, addressing the gathering, reiterated the Prime Minister’s Panch Pran (Five Pledges) vision from Independence Day 2022 and emphasized that India’s transformation by 2047 hinges on the strength and discipline of its youth—65% of whom are under 35.

He stressed that substance abuse and addiction are major threats derailing the nation’s potential, urging young people to resist not only drugs but also distractions like mobile phones and reels.

“To build a developed India, youth must lead the way as changemakers. A drug-free generation is critical to that future,” said Dr. Mandaviya.
