War 2 Box Office Collection Day 12:

Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji’s action spectacle War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, is facing a tough ride at the box office after an explosive start. According to early estimates, the film earned around ₹1.66 crore (India net) on its 12th day, taking its total domestic collection to ₹223.66 crore across all languages.

The film, part of YRF’s ambitious Spy Universe, opened with massive buzz but is now showing signs of slowdown, especially in the Hindi belt.

War 2 Box Office Journey So Far

War 2 had a thunderous opening with ₹52 crore on Day 1, boosted by strong numbers in both Hindi (₹29 crore) and Telugu (₹22.75 crore). The momentum continued on Day 2, with the film hitting its peak at ₹57.85 crore, registering an 11.25% growth.

However, the film’s collections began to taper off soon after. The first weekend fetched ₹33.25 crore on Saturday and ₹32.65 crore on Sunday, before weekday drops pulled numbers lower. Week 1 closed at an impressive ₹204.25 crore, with Hindi leading at ₹150.4 crore, followed by Telugu with ₹52.2 crore. Tamil contributed marginally


In Week 2, the film witnessed a predictable fall. Collections stood at ₹4 crore on Friday, ₹6.5 crore on Saturday, and ₹7.25 crore on Sunday. On Monday (Day 12), War 2 managed ₹1.66 crore, signaling a steady decline.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji,  War 2 continues YRF’s Spy Universe journey, following blockbusters like Pathaan and the Tiger franchise. Hrithik Roshan reprises his role as Kabir, joined by NT Rama Rao Jr. (Jr NTR) and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles.

Despite its underwhelming performance in Week 2, War 2 remains one of the biggest openers of 2025, and its post-credit sequence teases the upcoming spy thriller Alpha, further expanding YRF’s cinematic universe.
