Agartala, July 25, 2025 – Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Manik Saha, chaired a high-level review meeting yesterday at Conference Hall No. 2, Secretariat, to assess the performance of emergency response services and the effectiveness of the CM Helpline 1905.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister underlined the government’s commitment to addressing public grievances efficiently and responsively. He emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination between departments and the public to ensure prompt resolution of issues raised through the helpline.
“People must be encouraged to use the helpline services. Awareness campaigns in schools, colleges, and public areas are essential to spread this message,” Dr. Saha said.
He also directed officials to improve existing response mechanisms and ensure that concerns raised by citizens are acted upon swiftly. The CM praised the functioning of helplines during past emergencies and highlighted the need for readiness in disaster management and ambulance access.
Dr. Saha particularly stressed the relevance and performance of CM Helpline 1905, which he said bridges the gap between the government and the public. He appreciated the work of departments responding proactively and noted that the Prime Minister’s Office also acknowledges the effectiveness of such services.
Presentations were made by the Home Department and other related departments. Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan shared insights into the five-key-helpline integration model. Good Governance Department Secretary Kiran Gitte also gave a presentation on infrastructure and service delivery.
