Acting on intelligence input, police intercepted a vehicle during a routine check and recovered a large cache of Yaba tablets, a powerful stimulant often trafficked across the Indo-Bangladesh border.
Two individuals were apprehended on the spot and are currently being interrogated to identify the larger supply chain.
A senior police official stated:
“This is a significant seizure. Our team remains committed to fighting the drug menace in Tripura. The arrested individuals will face strict legal action.”
