Agartala | August 8, 2025 – The Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 352 Pre-Primary Teachers through the Selection Test for Pre-Primary Teacher (STPPT) 2025.

- 14 posts for Persons with Disabilities (Blind & Low Vision – 5, Partially Deaf/Hard of Hearing – 5, Locomotor Disability – 4)

Reservation: 33% horizontal reservation for women in both reserved and unreserved categories.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
- Senior Secondary (Class XII or equivalent) with at least 50% marks, OR Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks (as per NCTE norms).
- Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education / Pre-School Education / Early Childhood Education Programme (minimum 2 years) OR B.Ed (Nursery) from a recognized institution.
- Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) is mandatory.
Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
Relaxation: 5% in qualifying marks for SC/ST/PH candidates.
