A major highlight of the event was the foundation stone laying of two critical projects:
1.A Trauma Centre (G+4) designed to handle emergency and critical care cases with modern facilities.
2.A Residential Building (G+13) to provide improved accommodation for doctors, faculty, and medical staff.
Officials noted that the trauma centre will significantly strengthen Tripura’s capacity to handle accident and emergency cases, reducing the need for patients to travel outside the state for advanced treatment. Meanwhile, the residential complex is expected to create a more supportive environment for healthcare professionals, allowing them to focus on patient care without housing concerns.

To mark the milestone, the college also organized a blood donation camp.
