Prime Minister condoles the the loss of lives in a tragic air crash in Dhaka

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the tragic Bangladesh Air Force plane crash that claimed at least 19 lives and left more than 100 injured after an F-7 aircraft crashed into Milestone College in Uttara, Dhaka.

In a heartfelt message posted on social media, the Prime Minister said:

“Deeply saddened by the tragic air crash in Dhaka that led to the loss of precious lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims and the people of Bangladesh during this difficult time.”

India has offered all possible assistance to Bangladesh in rescue, relief, and medical support operations.

The condolence message reflects the deep-rooted friendship and historical ties between India and Bangladesh. Indian leadership has often stood in solidarity with Bangladesh during moments of national crisis.

✈️ About the Crash

As previously reported, a Bangladesh Air Force F-7 jet crashed during a routine training sortie, striking the school building in the bustling Uttara locality of Dhaka. Rescue efforts are ongoing as many injured are reported to be in critical condition.
