The Government of India has officially launched the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) portal, enabling registrations under the newly announced ₹99,446 crore Employment Linked Incentive Scheme.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his 12th Independence Day address from the historic Red Fort, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today announced the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana. With an outlay of ₹1 lakh crore. This transformative scheme aims to support creation over 3.5 crore jobs in two years. The scheme will provide incentive of up to ₹15,000  in two instalments to newly employed youth and upto 3000 per month per new employee to employers for creation new job opportunities. The Union Cabinet had earlier approved the scheme on July 1, 2025

Key Highlights of the Scheme

Job Creation Timeline: Benefits applicable for jobs created between 1st August 2025 and 31st July 2027.
Incentives for Youth: Newly employed youth will receive up to ₹15,000 in two instalments via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Incentives for Employers: Employers can claim ₹3,000 per month per new employee directly into their PAN-linked accounts.

Implementation Agency:
The scheme will be implemented by the Ministry of Labour & Employment through the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).

First-time employees must generate a Universal Account Number (UAN) via Face Authentication Technology (FAT) on the UMANG App.
