What began as a single-venue interaction in Delhi has now evolved into a nationwide movement, reflecting the Prime Minister’s vision of fostering a stress-free, inclusive and joyful learning environment for students.

A Nationwide Student Dialogue

Breaking away from tradition, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 connected students from multiple regions of India on one common platform. Prime Minister Modi interacted directly with students from Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Dev Mogra (Gujarat), and Guwahati (Assam) — symbolically linking the north, south, east, west and central India.

This format reinforced the programme’s core message: every student, regardless of geography or background, deserves to be heard, encouraged and empowered.

Record-Breaking Participation

The scale of engagement in PPC 2026 highlights its growing national footprint.

• Over 4.5 crore people registered for the programme

• 2.26 crore participants actively joined related activities

• Total engagement crossed 6.76 crore

Officials say the numbers underscore Pariksha Pe Charcha’s transformation into a people’s movement, involving students, parents, teachers and society at large.

Guiding Students Beyond Exams

Launched in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha is organised annually to help students approach board and entrance examinations with confidence and calmness. During the interaction, Prime Minister Modi addresses not just exam preparation, but also broader themes such as mental health, discipline, personal growth and lifelong learning.

Participants are selected through a nationwide competition, with winners given the opportunity to attend the event. A select group also interacts directly with the Prime Minister, making the experience especially memorable for students from diverse backgrounds.

Learning from the Innovative 2025 Edition

The eighth edition of PPC, held on February 10, 2025 at Sunder Nursery, New Delhi, introduced a new multi-episode format. It featured 36 students from a wide range of institutions including government schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, Navodaya Vidyalayas and CBSE schools.
Alumni of the PRERANA initiative, along with winners of Kala Utsav and Veer Gatha, also participated. The programme was conducted across seven thematic episodes, covering sports, discipline, mental health, nutrition, technology, financial awareness, creativity and positivity.

Global Recognition and Guinness Records

Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 created history by setting a Guinness World Record, with participation from students in over 245 countries, teachers from 153 countries, and parents from 149 countries, highlighting its global resonance among the Indian diaspora.

Participation has grown exponentially — from 22,000 participants in 2018 to 3.56 crore registrations in 2025. That year also saw 1.55 crore participants in Jan Andolan activities, taking total engagement close to 5 crore.

Strengthening the Culture of Stress-Free Learning

With Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026, the government aims to further strengthen the message of joyful learning and stress-free examinations, reinforcing education as a holistic journey rather than a pressure-filled race.
