As part of the initiative, one transport vehicle, two power tillers, one paddy thresher, and four battery-operated sprayers were handed over to farmers to enhance agricultural productivity and efficiency.

Addressing the gathering, officials said that the introduction of modern farm machinery will significantly reduce production costs, ease labour-intensive work, and help farmers achieve higher profitability. They emphasized that the Mission Organic Value Chain project is playing a vital role in promoting organic farming practices, improving soil health, and strengthening the economic condition of farmers across Tripura.
The project aims to create a sustainable organic value chain in the northeastern region by providing farmers with technical support, infrastructure, and market linkages, thereby ensuring long-term livelihood security.
