Sabroom, Tripura | June 20, 2025 – In a major stride toward inclusive development, Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday virtually inaugurated 19 vital infrastructure projects worth over ₹32 crore across South Tripura district. The projects aim to strengthen education, healthcare, and revenue administration, particularly in tribal and rural areas.

This virtual inauguration reflects the state government’s commitment to “last-mile delivery” under the broader vision of “Viksit Tripura @2047”, aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Viksit Bharat initiative.
📚 Key Projects Inaugurated
🏫 Education Sector Highlights:
- A double-storey school building inaugurated at BK Institution, Belonia.
- Infrastructure upgrades at schools under the Vidyajyoti scheme: Kalashi, Baikhora, Manubankul, Srinagar H.S. Schools.
- New girls’ hostel (50-seater) at Kalashi and boys’ hostel at Chatakchari.
- A new 100-bed ST Girls’ Hostel at Sabroom Girls’ Higher Secondary School.
🏥 Healthcare Sector Upgrades:
- Inauguration of Block Public Health Units at Maichhara PHC and Manubankul CHC.
- A new 20-bed inpatient unit at Muhuripur PHC to address rising demand for rural care.
🏢 Administrative Services Expanded:
- Seven Tahasil Kachari centers (revenue offices) opened at Maichhara, SBC Nagar, Radhanagar, Matai, Jolaibari, Baikhora, and Bhuratali for faster land and legal services.

Addressing the event virtually, CM Saha emphasized:

He highlighted that projects worth ₹612 crore have been launched or completed in 2025 across Tripura—an indication of the government’s proactive development push.
