The United Arab Emirates is among India’s closest allies in West Asia, playing a vital role in energy security, trade, and investment. Modi’s Role in Strengthening Relations
Diplomatic ties between India and the UAE were officially established in 1972, but they have witnessed an unprecedented boost under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. His 2015 visit to the UAE was the first by an Indian Prime Minister in 34 years and set the stage for closer cooperation.
