This year’s Environment Day theme — “Beat Plastic Pollution” — was prominently highlighted during the event, which included the planting of a variety of tree saplings and an appeal to reduce the use of single-use plastics. Staff, community members, and local youth participated in the green initiative, planting saplings in open areas around the office, roadsides, and residential surroundings.
