Agartala, June 9 โ A major initiative to promote agricultural growth and empower farmers is underway in Tripura under the Developed Agriculture Resolution Campaign, which officially began in Old Agartala on Monday. The campaign, being carried out across the state, aims to connect farmers with modern farming techniques, animal husbandry, fish farming, and government welfare schemes.

The campaign was inaugurated in the West Noagaon area of Agartala, in the presence of Sri Biswajit Shil and various senior officials. The event witnessed an impressive turnout of over 230 farmers, including 58 female farmers, showing strong participation from the local farming community.

The program included detailed discussions on agriculture, fishery, animal husbandry, and available government schemes, followed by a Q&A session where officials addressed farmers’ concerns directly.
Later in the day, the second phase of the campaign was held at Tulakona Panchayat, inside the newly constructed seed godown. The event was graced by:

This event saw the participation of 285 farmers, including 184 male and 101 female farmers, further demonstrating wide interest in the initiative.
The Developed Agriculture Resolution Campaign will continue in the Old Agartala Agricultural Sub-Division until June 12, in coordination with similar programs across the state. The campaign will cover 20 Panchayats under the sub-division, aiming to reach thousands of farmers through knowledge-sharing, expert interactions, and empowerment programs.
