BLA Claims Large-Scale Coordinated Assaults
In an official statement, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said that the attacks were conducted across multiple regions, including Quetta, Mastung, Nushki, Washuk, Kharan, Panjgur, Kech, and Jhal Magsi.
The group stated that military camps, installations, and checkpoints of Pakistani forces were targeted using modern weaponry. It also claimed that state-backed armed groups, often referred to as “death squads,” were among the targets.
According to the statement, the operations caused “heavy personnel and material losses,” although independent verification of these claims remains unavailable.
Escalation in Recent Days
The latest claims come amid a noticeable surge in militant activity in Balochistan. Earlier, the BLA had reported carrying out 14 attacks between March 19 and March 28, which it claimed resulted in the deaths of at least 18 security personnel.
These earlier operations reportedly targeted military convoys, checkpoints, and camps across districts such as Washuk, Kalat, Khuzdar, Turbat, and Barkhan. The group also claimed to have briefly taken control of certain checkpoints and seized weapons.
However, two BLA fighters were reportedly killed during direct clashes with Pakistani forces.
Widespread Infrastructure Attacks
Local reports suggest that the recent wave of violence has extended beyond military targets. Explosions and armed assaults were reported on highways, railway infrastructure, and gas pipelines across several districts.
The attacks are believed to have started on the night of March 28 in Panjgur district and continued over the following days, affecting areas such as Quetta, Sibi, Naseerabad, and Kech.
The disruption of infrastructure highlights the broader impact of the ongoing conflict on civilian life and regional stability.
Rising Tensions in Balochistan
Balochistan, Pakistan’s largest province by area, has long witnessed insurgency and unrest, with separatist groups demanding greater autonomy and control over local resources.
The recent escalation indicates a renewed phase of conflict, with militant groups intensifying attacks against Pakistani military and police forces.

Need for Independent Verification
While the BLA has made strong claims regarding casualties and operational success, there has been no official confirmation from Pakistani authorities at the time of reporting. Independent verification of the reported deaths and damages remains limited.
Observers note that such claims should be viewed cautiously until corroborated by multiple sources.
Conclusion
The situation in Balochistan appears increasingly volatile, with a surge in coordinated attacks raising concerns about regional security. As both sides continue to engage in the conflict, the coming days are likely to be critical in determining whether tensions escalate further or efforts are made to stabilize the region.
