PM Modi to Launch India AI Impact Expo 2026:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the India AI Impact Expo 2026 at Bharat Mandapam on Monday, marking the start of one of the country’s largest artificial intelligence showcases.

The Expo will run from February 16 to 20 alongside the India AI Impact Summit 2026, bringing together global technology firms, startups, academia, research institutions, Union Ministries, state governments and international partners.

A Mega AI Showcase Across 70,000 Square Metres
Spread across 10 arenas covering over 70,000 square metres, the Expo is designed as a comprehensive demonstration of AI innovation at scale.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the event will feature:
• 300+ curated exhibition pavilions
• 600+ high-potential startups
• 13 country pavilions
• Over 500 sessions
• 3,250+ speakers and panelists
• Expected footfall of 2.5 lakh visitors, including international delegates
The exhibition will be structured around three thematic “chakras” — People, Planet and Progress, highlighting AI’s transformative role across social, environmental and economic sectors.
Strong Global Participation
The Expo will host country pavilions from Australia, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and African nations — reflecting expanding global collaboration in the AI ecosystem.
The presence of international partners underscores India’s growing prominence in shaping conversations around AI development, governance, and responsible innovation.

600 Startups to Showcase Real-World AI Solutions
More than 600 startups will demonstrate working AI solutions, many already deployed in real-world and population-scale environments.
These ventures are expected to showcase advancements in sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, education, climate technology, manufacturing, and governance.
The event aims to foster business partnerships, attract investments, and strengthen India’s position as a global AI innovation hub.
Where Policy Meets Practice
Over 500 sessions will deliberate on AI’s transformative impact across industries while addressing regulatory, ethical, and governance challenges.
“The Expo will serve as a national demonstration of AI in action, where policy meets practice, innovation meets scale, and technology meets the everyday citizen,” the PMO said in a statement.
With India pushing for leadership in digital public infrastructure and emerging technologies, the India AI Impact Expo 2026 is being positioned as a landmark event to align innovation with inclusive growth.
