In a significant leap toward digital transformation, the Department of Posts will launch the next-generation Advanced Parcel Tracking (APT) application across Tripura’s postal network starting July 15, 2025. This initiative, part of the India Post’s IT 2.0 digital upgrade, will be inaugurated at the Agartala Head Post Office and extended to 25 sub-post offices and their branches across the state.

This digital overhaul is designed to deliver faster, smarter, and more efficient services to citizens, ensuring real-time updates, streamlined tracking, and seamless user experience.

📢 Service Disruption on July 14
To ensure a smooth and secure transition, the Department of Posts has declared July 14 as a no-transaction day across all affected locations. There will be no public-facing services on this day as systems are upgraded to the APT platform.

“This upgrade is a major milestone in our mission to provide digitally empowered and timely services to all citizens,” said Shri Manik Lal Das, Superintendent of Post Office, Agartala Postal Division.
“We sincerely apologize for the one-day inconvenience on July 14 and assure that the changes will bring faster, smarter services across Tripura.”
