Khowai, Tripura | June 12, 2025 —
The Tripura Govt continues to enhance citizen-centric development by strengthening infrastructure in the health, education, and security sectors. On a mission to improve grassroots governance, eight major development projects worth approximately ₹8 crore were inaugurated in Khowai District today.

During an official tour, the state leadership inaugurated the 89th Police Station of Tripura at Baijalbari, alongside a 50-bed ST Boys Hostel built at a cost of ₹2 crore — marking a significant step towards inclusive welfare and tribal education.
🏥 Virtual Inauguration of Six More Key Projects:
In a virtual ceremony, six more projects across Khowai were inaugurated:
- Mungiakami Block Public Health Unit – ₹64.04 lakh
- Teliamura Block Public Health Unit – ₹34.38 lakh
- Tulashikhar Block Public Health Unit – ₹54.80 lakh
- Khowai District Panchayat Resource Centre (Dhalabil) – ₹2 crore
- Two-storied Administrative Building for Teliamura Block – ₹1.289 crore
- Additional Classrooms at Metharai Riangbari H.S. School – ₹1.18 crore
These projects reflect the government’s ongoing commitment to ensuring accessible healthcare, education, and administrative efficiency in rural and tribal areas of the state.
